Content Creation for Local Businesses: Written to Answer Customers

Content creation means writing and maintaining the pages that answer your customers’ questions: service and area pages, cost guides, FAQs, problem pages and updates. Good content is accurate, specific to your business and checked before it goes live. You should own everything written for you, and every claim should be one you can support.

What we write

  • Service pages and area pages written for how customers search.
  • Guides and answers to the questions customers ask.
  • Google Business Profile posts.
  • Case studies, with your written permission.

All of it starts from the questions your customers ask. See what content a local business needs for the page types we recommend first.

How we work

  1. We agree the topics and the questions your customers ask.
  2. We interview you or collect your notes and photos.
  3. A writer drafts each piece in plain UK English.
  4. You approve it before it is published.

How we check facts and use AI

We may use AI tools for research, outlines and first drafts. A person edits and fact-checks every piece, checks any figure against its source and approves it before it reaches you. We do not publish unchecked AI text, and you own everything we write.

Whatever tools are used, these rules apply to every page we write:

  • Every statistic names its publisher and year and links to the source.
  • Costs are given as ranges with a source.
  • We never invent testimonials, results or reviews. The UK rules on reviews ban fake reviews.
  • Every page is read and approved by a person before it is published.

Who owns the content

You do. Everything we write for your business belongs to you, and you can take a copy. If a supplier will not agree to that in writing, think again.

What it costs

Service and area pages from £180 a page, and monthly content plans of four pieces from £395 a month. Photography is extra.

For context, one UK guide puts a professional copywriter at about £150 to £500 per page. Price depends on research, interviews and how much needs checking.

What we need from you

  • Time for a short interview about your work and customers.
  • Examples of real jobs, prices or ranges and photos, with permission.
  • Accurate details of your services, areas and accreditations.
  • Prompt approval of drafts.

How often we publish

We recommend a rhythm you can sustain rather than a burst of posts. See how often a small business should publish. To see where your content stands today, start with a website and marketing audit.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of content do you write?

Service and area pages, cost guides, problem pages, FAQs and updates, built around the questions your customers ask.

Do you use AI to write?

See our policy above. In every case a person checks every fact and approves the page.

Will the content sound like me?

We interview you, use your real examples and your wording where possible, and revise until it sounds right.

Who owns what you write?

You do. It belongs to your business and you can take a copy.

How long does it take?

It depends on how many pages and how quickly we can get the information we need. Ask for a timeline in writing.
