Our Ownership Promise: Everything We Build for You Belongs to You
Everything we build for you belongs to you: your domain, your hosting account, your website files and content, your Google Business Profile, Analytics, Search Console and Ads accounts, and the data in them. If you leave, we hand over the logins and files in writing within an agreed time. This is written into our terms, not just promised.

What this means
| Item | Who owns it | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Your domain name | You, as registrant | We never register it in our name |
| Your hosting account | You, or with full access and a right to move it | We never hold it so that you cannot leave |
| Website design, files and content | You | You can take a full copy |
| Google Business Profile | You, as primary owner | We are added as a manager, not the owner |
| Google Analytics, Search Console and Ads | You | We are given access, and you can remove it |
| Customer data and enquiries | You | We use them only to do the work |
| Reports and recommendations | You | Yours to keep |

Why we do this
UK guidance advises that everything created for your business should belong to you, and that a supplier who holds your domain, hosting or accounts can make it hard to leave. We think you should stay because the work is good, not because you are locked in. See who owns your website for what to ask any supplier.
Exceptions
We do not own or resell your domain, hosting account, Google profiles or content. The only things that stay ours are tools we use on our own behalf, such as our reporting software and internal templates.
Where a paid plugin, stock image, font or tool is licensed rather than owned, the licence is in your name wherever possible, and we say so in the quote.
If you leave
- Tell us in writing, following the notice terms in your contract.
- We hand over logins, files, content and records within 14 days.
- We remove ourselves from your accounts.
- We give you a written handover note listing what has been passed over.

In writing
The promise is part of our terms: a copy is available on request through our contact page. See also our pricing, our FAQs and, for what to check in any contract, should you sign a 12-month marketing contract.
